DESERT CLAMBAKE
A long-time client sought to surprise guests with an unexpected event that played on our desert locale with a tongue-in-cheek theme – a coastal clambake in the Sonoran desert. Images of Nantucket + the Hamptons evoked an East Coast aesthetic with white-washed wood, sea tones + billowing cabanas punctuated with Arizona essence.
In setting the scene for casual feasting, dining tables alternated between striped, textural navy linens + chalk board table-tops complete with hand-drawn menu calligraphy. Atop the tables sat cement vessels + glass bubble bowls of white Hydrangea, Blue Thistle + whimsical Billy Balls juxtaposed with
orange Protea + paddle cacti. Pallet furniture mimicked a farm-stand feel with crisp
white cushions + nautical accents.

Guests grabbed a cold brew from a metal canoe before heading into the vintage
VW photobooth bus + climbing aboard a Pier-worthy Ferris wheel.
