DESERT EN BLANC

A lushly-landscaped lawn was favored over the traditional ballroom for this al-fresco

celebration of 450 guests. In a strikingly-luxe interpretation of famed Diner en Blanc, bold,

achromatic silhouettes were enlivened by strokes of uncharacteristic, juicy citrus tones.

In setting the scene for communal feasting, dining tables alternated between those swathed in varying textures of white linen + dramatic, 24’ gold-based serpentine tables. Dinner rounds showcased a bouquet of orange blooms + tropical greens, while atop the serpentines, acrylic vessels artfully displayed a modern terrarium of loose stone, desert flora + candlelight – gentle nods to both the evening’s palette + host destination.

The centerpiece of the lawn was a tangerine inlayed bar paired with gilded Hollywood Regency-esque bookcases. Flanking the space stood two, 14’ table white cabanas with chandeliers comprised of delicately-suspended strands of marigold that gently swayed in the passing breeze. Beneath the more than 1,000 orange blooms, a lush lounge played with regency splendor + whimsical curvature in the signature, bleached alabaster.
